By Richard Everett
Directed by Chris Williams
Grace, the recently widowed vicar's wife, has spent a lifetime on her best behaviour. Now, after the death of her husband Bardolph, she can enjoy the new-found freedom of being able to do and say exactly what she feels like.
However, there are ghosts that need laying to rest here - and one of them is ambling around this idyllic country garden having little chats with Grace. But as is so often the case, ghosts, family secrets and rivalries can't be laid to rest without new skeletons tumbling out of the closet.
Don't miss this thoroughly absorbing comedy and great evening's entertainment.
A very English comedy with some real emotion … scratch the surface and you’ll find interesting undercurrents rippling the water … Adultery, miscarriage, divorce and deception interestingly handled all, are just some of the problems that writer Richard Everett beds down among well-received jokes … This is a sure-fire hit…
